Ran with my book and my thoughts

Wow am I slow! Legs started out tight, but loosened up about mile three and felt pretty good. Just kind of went out and “ran” with nowhere in particular as a goal beyond home eventually. Listened to my book and enjoyed getting lost in that. I love Fridays when I have no real plans for the weekend except to get a run in (and do my darn taxes but oh wellz).
Planned 4-8 miles and went 8. :) Won’t make my goal of 50 this week, I don’t think, unless I run 24 in the next two days.
Oh well..
