Redmond Watershed Trail Run

Oh what a beautiful morning! Oh what a beautiful day!! Wow. Could not have asked for better weather for the first Winter Trail Running class. Got to the trailhead this morning about 10:45. I was a little disappointed to see my dogs could not run with me (and so were they). I headed out to mark the trail when Roy called to let me know Seret was there. Yay! I ran back and met her and we went out and marked together. It was SO nice to have her there because she knows the watershed trails like the back of her hand.
We finished marking just as the other pulled in. I went over the route and we all headed out together. Marking was a good idea as we have a lot of different paces, and it allowed everyone to feel confident at their own pace. I ran with Ardel and we caught up on all the news.
We finished just ahead of Seret (who, blessedly, went back at one point to make sure the others were fine). After a refuel and making sure everyone got in, Seret and I headed out again to pick up the markers.
Now I’m heading home for food and am TIRED. But it’s a good kind of tired. Oh and I must do a shout out for my wonderful, wonderful, every adjective for wonderful husband who sat in the van in case of emergency for three hours with two stinky dogs. He’s the best ever!!
