Blessed Christmas Santa Hat Run

Wiley and I headed out this morning to spread Christmas Cheer to everyone by foot. We did the loop and ventured out a little more to make it a five miler. It is SLICK out there, but we did see a lot of people. Got some honks and waves, and one guy waiting at a bus stop saw us coming and held out a dog treat for Wiley and wished us a very merry Christmas. It was wonderful! The air was crisp and coooooold, but no rain. It was foggy and pretty out. Just a really blessed morning. Just as we were crossing to go into our house, a guy in a big truck came by, threw open his door, and leaned out to give us a big thumbs up and yell MERRY CHRISTMAS! Now that’s the kind of holiday and community spirit I love! Almost felt like I lived back in small town Marysville! I even got a big wave from the EMTs heading to a call (and I said a prayer for whomever called).

Merry Christmas all my friends! Go out and celebrate this wonderful holiday by getting in a good healthy run. There is no better way to give thanks for the blessing of good health, than by being a good steward of our bodies!
