LSD Done in Bits and Pieces

Today’s plan was between 13 and 17 for Portland training. I met Megan and Erin at 7 and we ran about 4.5 miles, I ran .5 a mile to get there. Then I held my 5k class, another 2.6 miles. Ran with Megan for a total of 4 more miles, then added a bit more picking up the last of the runners before we had to take off to head to the play.

Whew!

Leg felt pretty good today! I wore cho pat straps both above my knee and on the tender spot on my lower leg. That REALLY helped. I was told not to ice it by my therapist, but use Biofreeze for now until she’s done working on the muscles, so I did that and it felt great.

I love this group! I think there were about 15 people there today for the 10k/half/full class! Woo hoo! Erin is an awesome partner, and Roy is, as always, the BEST ever. So great to have old people back I truly enjoy and new people who are great. I miss some of the people who were unable to take the program again…but maybe another time!
