Just a Jog

Thought I’d take my HRM out for a spin, and try it with my new tank that snaps in the HRM transmitter…very coolio! Although wow, their sizes are wacked! This is an 8, I normally wear a 2 but like my tanks to be looser, and it’s skin tight. Whatever…it is fine, it’s just showing all my bulges in all the wrong places, and the girls are squishedied!

While I was out ran by a coffee shop on third street that had a live band playing, so I stopped for a few songs. Saw Cole, one of my former students, and Heather, his wife who used to work at the YMCA. It was SO cool to see them! We talked and I oohed and aahed over their children. Asked them what they’d been doing and Cole replied “reproducing!” I thanked him for populating the planet! Ha! They’ve been married two years and have two little ones! So cute!

Ran very carefully paying a lot of attention to getting my Chi Out. Really trying to focus on form lately since I have this leg injury. It’s still there, but was feeling on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being best and healed, about a 4 which is better than the 8 it felt last run. Ran three miles, decided that was plenty.

It was really nice to be able to just go out and run and not worry about spontaneous combustion, too!
