Rockin’ good run! Ran from work to the mall via 112th street, which I enjoy. Listened to some good tunes. Saw some fun stuff. Then ate spaghetti. Marathon tomorrow…and for me, this IS a taper!

This is a shot of my classroom from Airport Road. I have avoided looking at it up until now. It’s not so bad, but most of the burned stuff is gone. I’m still amazed at how much this fire affected me. Definitely good has come out of it, but I still am having a hard time dealing with it.

Blessing: As I was running towards the mall, an elderly asian woman stopped me and pointed at my feet and said “I cannot run because my feet are not strong! But you can run! You lucky!” I laughed with her and said, “But you can walk, and it’s a beautiful day for it!” “Yes it is! You have very good day!” “You too!” It’s neat little moments like that that make running a joy.
